Welcome to the new Family Promise of Greater Chattanooga homepage. We’re currently undergoing an upgrade, so what you see might appear a little rough at times, but rest assured all the links are active, and you can still learn about the plight of homeless families in Chattanooga, and what you can do to help eliminate it.
Have some thoughts on our efforts or the new look? Why not send us an email? We want to hear from you.
Life at FPGC
True joy brought to our kids by a generous donation of pumpkins from P & P Produce! Happy Halloween!
FPGC Exec Director Mary Ellen Galloway and Lynn Strong of First Baptist Church led our latest volunteer training class on september 19. All the new, semi-new, and veteran volunteers and coordinators in attendance were informed, refreshed, and invigorated with the FPGC mission.
In this pic, we have FPGC Executive Director Mary Ellen Galloway (left of center) addressing Kathleen Crevasse of the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, Arthur & Sherl Foster from Friendship Community Church, Annette Smith from Ooltewah UMC, and Sandy Dean & Marilyn Sterchi from St. John UMC.
A single overnight stay can run from at FPGC to over 00.
Why give to FPGC? Location, location, location.
Congratulations to Brock Ragsdale, who threw out the first pitch at FPGC Night at the Lookouts.
Thanks to Emmie Treadwell and her Baylor eighth graders. As a result of their project selling #FeedFamilies wristbands to their Movie Nights, they raised over FIFTEEN HUNDRED DOLLARS for us here at FPGC.
Way to go, Big Red!
