As children grow and develop in our program, they are both nurtured and challenged as they move towards the greater independence that Elementary School will bring.

We desire to prepare each child to be ready for kindergarten.

Our goal for the class is to be a place of learning and emotional and spiritual development in an atmosphere that is fun.

As they learn the foundational building blocks of school, we will focus on our foundation for life, God, who gave us life in Jesus Christ.

Your teacher will reach out with a monthly newsletter to keep you aware of everything related to classroom activities.

Dear parents,

Some things we are working on in the classroom

  • Having the students walk in a single file line to go outside.

  • Using manners, please, and thank you. 

  • We are cleaning up our messes.

Academic Goals for May:  

  • To know the three primary colors, red, yellow, and blue.

  • To understand the three secondary colors: Orange, green, and purple.

  • Learning shapes.

7:00-8:30 am:           Full-day students go to classroom 13 
8:30-8:45 am:           Circle Time
8:45-9:00 am:           Bathroom Break and Snack Time
9:00-9:15 am:           Bible Story
9:15-9:30 am:           Music and movement
9:30-9:45 am:           Math
9:45-10:00 am:         Literacy
10:00-10:20 am:       Indoor Playtime
10:20- 10:30 am:      Bathroom break
10:30-11:15 am:        Outdoor Playtime
11:15-11:30 am:        Story Time
11:30-12:00 pm:        Lunch
12:00-12:30 pm:       Clean-up/Bathroom/Prepare for a nap/rest time
12:30-2:30 pm:         Nap/Rest - Bring a small blanket, take it home every week, and wash it.
2:30-3:00 pm:           Bathroom and snack
3:00-4:15 pm:           Outside playground
4:15-5:30 pm:           Books, games, centers, and clean up
