Our curriculum is designed to provide active learning experiences in four developmental areas of a child’s growth: Communication, Cognitive, Physical, and Social-Emotional.

Each month the students will learn and recognize three letters and numbers.  With all the fun we have while learning, we have many other activities and crafts.

Your teacher will reach out with a monthly newsletter to keep you aware of everything related to classroom activities.

Academic Goals for February:  

  • To know the three primary colors, red, yellow, and blue.

  • To understand the three secondary colors: Orange, green, and purple.

  • Learning shapes.

  • Circles: They go round and round

  • Stars: They have five points! 1, 2, 3, 4, 5

Classroom Reminders: 

  • Bring a water bottle. 

  • Bring a blanket and a stuffed animal if your student stays for a nap.

  • Please label your child's water bottle, blankets, jackets, and stuffed animals.  

  • Please don't let your child bring toys into the classroom when dropped off.

  • Please bring a few changes of clothes in case your child has an accident.

  • Please check your child's folder at the end of the week so you can get home their artwork. 

Classroom lesson plans will be posted on the wall right by the classroom's door; that way, you can see what the Bible verse, crafts, and learning activities will be for the week.

Daily Schedule:


7:00-8:30 am:           Full-day students go to classroom 13 
8:30-9:00 am:           Welcome kids and table time activities
9:00-9:20 am:           Morning snack and bathroom
9:20-9:45 am:           Circle Time and Chapel of Fridays 
9:40-10:30 am:         Art and crafts, puzzles, blocks
10:30: 11:15 am:        Outside playground 
11:15-11:30 am:         Bathroom
11:30-12:00 pm:        Lunch
12:00- 12:30 pm:      Clean room, nap prep, bathroom, and diapers 
12:30-2:30 pm:         Nap/Rest - Bring a small blanket, take it home every week, and wash it.
2:30-3:00 pm:           Bathroom and snack
3:00-4:15 pm:           Outside playground
4:15-5:30 pm:           Storytime, centers, and clean up
